Queen Bee Farm?
OK i have watched countless videos on youtube, read heer in the discussions area trying to figure out how to get this bee farm going and just can't figure it out. Most videos are useless due to them just doing it and not explaining all the details and the few that did I followed their instructions and left the queen bee block and nothing ever happens and when I fut my pointer over the queen bee block it says "Sprout Not Fertillized, nothing ever happens.

I was told a multitude of instructions like just place it on a Cragwood pcs of wood, didn't work, then read place it on a cragwood leaves and had to be centered on a block of cragwwod leave 3X, Did that it still says Sprout Not Fertillized no matter what i DO.

Does anyone have instructions on how to actually do this?

I place wood with leaves on top and the queen on top of the leaves. Place these with at least 2 block gaps between....it takes a bit to grow out but not too long..step 4 profit

I've used ashenwood and cragwood with either kind of leaves on top.

OK let me tray that, I have placed the queen wood or leaves but wasn't told to try combining them.

Wood on bottom leaves on top of wood, queen bee on top of leaves like you suggested.

you only need 1 wood, 1 leaves and 1 queen per "pole". I've never looked to see the sprout not fertilized....it just develops...can take a few in game days...sleeping doesn't seem to accelerate it.

The "Sprout, not fertilized" is perfectly normal, it just takes time to grow. If it showed "Fallow", then you would have a problem. You don't actually need both leaves and wood, just one block of either works just as well. For more details, refer to http://creativerse.wikia.com/wiki/Queen_Bee

I never use anything but one leaf block sitting on the ground. As long as you don't get "fallow" after setting the queen bee you are good. If you are playing a couple real world hours and nothing happens try quitting the game and waiting a bit or load another world to clear the cache that should get you results.

I once tried with only a block of leaf and a queenbee and that worked perfectly too

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!
I don't know how to make it more obvious.
KH gave you every answer you need. She gave you every answer you could even USE.
Don't get me wrong. I read the other replies. These are experienced players with useful advice. Take that to heart.
But to solve your immediate problem, KH nailed it. Your "sprout" is not fertilized. None of us bothers to fertilize anything. As long as it doesn't say "fallow" you just walk away & let it grow.
Give your hives time. They will grow.
