But there is more, the bundle included in the Misc section do not stack (I'm refering to the wooden crate looking item you get when opening bundles or from blueprint kit)... at least not with others then themselves. As such they probably have unique item ID (like blueprint cornerstone), making them yet another way to have unlimited combinaisons.
To achieve nearly the same result you'd need 9 digits (decimals)... but again : unlimited and private codes through unique unpublished items!
And consider that it's done with 3 digits! (lots of items)
Something else to note is that every time a new set of blocks is released, there is a substantial increase in the number of possibilities :)
But, whatever the actual number is, there is absolutely no reason that every player on a world can't have unique teleporter codes. :)
And I know, I'm kinda late to this party.
No, older worlds still have them, making them a very unique digit (as a few other items).
Edit : Think of it, you know the notes you get (1) that cannot be found anywhere else? Now get at last 4 of those, chances are no player without coordination will be able to break the code (they'd have 1, but need 2). It's all a matter or rarity, and exoticity.

(I guess that's what you meant by "stick" because there is no other similar thing, even google says so)
And crafting tables got removed from older worlds?
The point here is 10e9 vs1020+e3 : 10e9 = 1 000 000 000 (that's a 9 digit 10 units code) / 1020+e3 = 1 061 208 000 (that's a 3 digit code with over 1020 units).
This is old news though, since then there are 3 new seeds (mushrooms), a few stairs and a new bundle.
This mean we're getting even more so past the 1 000 000 000 that would provide a 9 digit (0-9) code. All that with 3 digits!.
If the first one then it explains why it's on the list. (What happened to the ones stored in chests?)
+ still no answer on twigs, they are still in the old worlds
^ this "rule" applies to them, so they are just like charged wooden gauntlet
