Coal/Diamond farm?

So I just came back to this game after having a break for 2 years. Does throwing freeze bombs and fire bombs at tar still work?

you may need to enable tnt on your claim it has recently been altered to include thrown bombs

It should still work. frezz bomes trun it to coal. fire bome or smashing it truns it in to dimond.
and yes you should mark that clam for tnt to be used or the world

The freeze bomb has to hit something solid (not the tar) in order to work. Most people put a block in the middle to use as a target just for that reason.

I need to blueprint my coal/diamond farm for someone else, so remind me and I'll post it here.

Yes it does, please make sure in the claim and world settings you have TNT enabled as this has had an update, both the world, and claim need to have tnt enabled for bombs to work :)

Also, in case you didn't know, you can make Tar by gauntlet-smashing Fossils.

The problem was, I disabled explosives in the world, my bad.

making flame skulls is faster than fire bombs and they work like a charm :) and all that worked fine in the game before is still working fine now ;) Hotfix failed :)
