Underwater Building.
Just a quick one, is there an efficient way of building Underwater?

I want to make an on-ocean town with glass tunnels under the water connecting all the builds, but it's a nightmare. (Either that or I'm just bad at it) xD

Just don't go to crazy with freezing the ocean.. trust me.. refilling it is not fun.

Refilling it? doesn't a fire bomb turn ice back into water?
Ko0L4iD May 14, 2017 @ 11:34pm
Yep, but it also destroys the water blocks that are not ice, so it's not a precise enough tool to change the ice back to water without causing other issues.

Firebombs also turn sand to salt so if you miss you could have a real mess on your hands

I usually swim down to the bottom and place sideways rotated slabs and swim until I'm right next to them. Should give you air to build.

Start with some roof instead of the walls. The water under the roof will drain out, and you'll have a pocket for breathing.

From my time building underwater bases in Minecraft the best solution is to place flammable blocks for where you want the interior of the rooms to be. Then build the walls over the blocks. Once its sealed in you set fire to the flammable blocks. It's faster than trying to build the rooms as you are plugging holes where the water is getting in. For Creativerse it would seem like shredded leaves are the cheapest and most widely available flammable block you get.

Ladders are excellent at holding water at bay whilst still allowing movement through that block. I've constructed many underwater bases using ladders to build a skeleton of the building and replace with blocks.

Why not use torches it pushes all liquids back. I use those all the time.
