Hope those examples give you an idea of how to use the Arc Signs.
There are many more tutorials out there.. this was just a few.

The inputs are preset code text to interact with the 4 input outlet.
Without any special code you can use it as a sign. Here are the formating commands you can use :
{1}, {2}, {3}, {4} - subsitute input from a sensor or number pad
{PlayerName} - substitue the local player's name
<offset=x.xx/> - Pushes sign text up or down (can be negative)
<zoffset=x.xx/> - Pushes sign text forward or backward (can be negative)
<width=x.xx/> - Control the width of the text region
<size=x.xx/> - Control the size of the text
<6hex code/> - Color for the text, where each pair of a 6 digit number control the Red Green Blue saturation (eg : FF0000 would be a deep red, 880000 would be a paler red, FF8888 would be a deep pink)
Thanks J's
You can also use the basic <u> <b> <i> I think, but I have not much experience with that.
Everyones stepped up and provided some great resources here

Also, as for large upside down text, that's remarkably easy. Again using the size= tag set the size to /9 for normal size such as <size=/9>Hello</size>, go for different sizes from /1 (quite big) to /9.9 which is the equivalent of size=0.1 but upside down. You can use larger numbers with the / symbol first and the sizes you can get are massive (I tried /10 to see what would happen).

Hope this helps people out.
EDIT for examples of the Arc Sign on the ceiling and the text edits you'll need to make it actually read correctly due to how the Arc Sign does word wrap on upside down text.

offset=x.xx/ - Pushes sign text up or down (can be negative) and zoffset=x.xx/ - Pushes sign text forward or backward (can be negative). Can you push the text to the left or to the right?

But the question is valid & the thread is already necro'd. Ignoring the question won't UN-necro the thread. Might as well answer it.
