Creativerse

Creativerse

Farming and Pet Keeping/ "Animal" Farming.
Is it just me that thinks that the what you put into this part of Creativerse is a lot more than what you get out of it?

Maybe the animal farming is better once you get more than just leafy and pigsy but the farming food aspect doesn't feel (to me) worth the materials and "effort" put into it.

Like it's not a serious thing but I enjoy farming in games as much as in reality, I spent most of my time farming on Minecraft and even Unturned, and I have stardew valley for heaven's sake.

I feel like a change like different levels of ploughs and washers would go a long way (I would say taming bells as well but I don't think people tame as many monsters as the quantity and rate I tame them at lol). Like, for instance the original washers being toned down a little, instead of obsidian its wood and stone, or maybe and all wood one and all stone one.

I know its minecraft-esc but the depletion of health of the tool is a annoying when you've got 20 Things and you can't get round all of them without using a second washer.

(Oh and this has been a thing on my mind, whats that sound in the background like someones making and ad for cola and popping bottle lids? I never figured out what that was.)

Moved to Suggestions for the items you mentioned you'd like changed - also discussion about the rest works here too.

For the popping sound - are you sure you don't have an extractor left somewhere that wasn't picked up? They make popping sounds whenever you are near to remind you to retrieve it.

I don't think i noticed a popping sound related to pets, but maybe someone can give further input on that as i often play with sound off.

More than likely, I'd play this with my girlfirend and we are situated in her world so god knows how many extractors there are sitting around waiting to be collected. Would love it to show on my map where I placed them, even if only for the super extractors.

The devs heard these cries long ago. They responded wonderfully.

In doing so... they kind of made the "farming" part obsolete. You can still tame pets, care for them, keep them for aesthetics or adventures--washing a Shrewdshrew is definitely one of the cuter things in the game. (If your GF hasn't seen that yet, she'll go bonkers.) But "mob farms" are where all the action is.

As you are new to the game, I won't break the parts of a mob farm down for you. You're here, and you're over halfway to finding the answer on your own. From a spoilers perspective I've said too much already, but your question deserved an honest reply.

New isn't really the word xD, more like I took a break from it after playing it non-stop for weeks.
