Circle Plotter
Circles play a huge role in creativerse architecture. I think it'd be really handy if there was a customizable block that creates a ring of light around itself at a user-determined radius, to help builders easily plot perfect circles.

I believe that it should have one corner specially marked, so that odd-radiused circles are centered in the center of the block, while even-radiused circles are centered on the designated corner.

It should have a compression option, so that it can be used to create elipses.

For now, a 2D version would be fantastic, but long term, I think it ought to have a 3D mechanism to help builders construct spheres, domes and bowls.

A useful website to utilize for circles is Plotz [plotz.co.uk]. Many people utilize it for Creativerse.

If not Plotz, make a circle yourself and blueprint it. You do not have to publish it to the public and will always have it when you need it. I have a full set of different shapes that I use all the time. Get the cornerstone, use it and throw it out, if needed again, rinse, repeat. :)

I've been using this one since my MC days and I use it for CV as well. Works great. https://donatstudios.com/PixelCircleGenerator I also do what Adora does from time to time as it's quite handy for shapes I use frequently

Yes, I have a similar system myself. But you still have to Alt-Tab back and forth to look at the diagram. Imagine the convienience of simply having to follow a traced-out circle in the game itself?

Also, to several users like myself, Creativerse is starting to get a bit too RAM-hungry to be able to run a browser alongside it at the same time.

All well and good, so long as your making a circle that's a radius you've used before. If not, your right back to using a system like Moist Slenderman or Boboturk suggest.

I generally run it on my phone instead for that very reason. My PC is kind of a potato, so i so as much outside resource stuff through my phone or my crappy tablet. I do get what you're saying and I agree it would be very cool in-game , just offering up an alternative is all. Cheers :)

A block that makes circles & globes of light? Where do I sign up?!?

You guys are just thinking of one use for this. Can I change the color of the light? Can I rotate the block so the globe appears next to it or under it? Can I place them deep underground and have only a dome above the surface, like a force field around my base? Can I make snow globes with them? Can I put a few close to each other, rotated & sized just right, and have something like a giant vector art hanging in the sky of my world? Can I put a bunch at the top of my world to make it look like distant planets from the ground? Can I combine a small one with a bunch of arc signs to look like a holographic 3D map of the world? Can I put a bunch of rings of light in the sky to make a glider race? Can I nest a bunch of rings inside each other to make an interdimensional portal?

I have several circle templates I use. One is 29/19/9 , a few are 59/63 and fit perfectly into the claim lines. Single line circles with a double color cross hair in the middle so it's easily seen in the world map view. I don't use the actual blueprint, usually just use the ghost to see where to place blocks.

Seriously, blueprints have SO many uses.

I once hated filling in unlevel water, now it's a breeze using a blueprint template. :)
