Creativerse

Means Of Moving Loaded Chests
It would be so wonderfully convienient if there was a mechanism for picking up and relocating a loaded chest to a new location, instead of the currant, cumbersom process of:

1. Deposit currant personal inventory into temporary chest.
2. Empty out target chest's contents into personal inventory.
3. Pick up target chest
4. Relocate target chest
5. Deposit target chest's inventory back into the chest
6. Return to temporary chest, retrieve original personal inventory.

Yup, that would make life a LOT easier! Maybe some Vingardium Leviosa Cell?

Or simple way: give possibility to choose all item and options move then move items from base chest to target chest. When target chest is full (smaller) rest of item are in ase chest..
Super idea for clean up mess in chest:
add sorting and posiibility too choose one group of item (ex. coal) and move only this grup to another chest.

Actually I don't know why we don't have this ability in the first place, the contents of the chest are programatically attached to the object ID of the chest so moving the chest shouldn't do anything to the contents of it.

Just change the boolean on chests that says "isUnmovable" to a zero and we're good to go.

Well, you can understand the potential for exploitation if it was made moveable in the sense of any other ordinary building block. Players could go from having 60 inventory slots to having 2400 if they stocked all their slots with Grand Arctec chests. And even more so, if they stocked those chests with further chests!

Potentially you could carry your entire Creativerse life with you wherever you went. I can understand how this would go against the spirit of the game.

But there has to be a way of moving chests around in such a way that prevents this kind of exploitation. e.g. Maybe they could have a special "chest mover" tool that prevents you from doing any mining or building while you are carrying a chest.

personally i like the dragon Quest builders storage system. where you have chests, but you have the option to make one massive storage item like a storage closet/Vault. which can hold like ten large chest ammount. having it limited to one per person.

The key factor in this one special storage item is you can store anything you pick up to it regardless of where you are in the world. (overflow automatically goes to it, and you can take things from it remotely as well.)

You can teleport in the game, so why not teleport items to your storage vault?
you place it in your base, then you can go through all your other chests and when you take that the over flow automatically teleports to your primary storage (storage vault) This vault is like two blocks by two blocks by three blocks high. I dont think it would break the game to allow each person to have one of these.

it would make things much more awesome to have one.
Even if it was a premium item I would pay to have that.

Yes please. With reasonable limitations, of course. For example, no placing loaded chest inside other chests. This is not D&D, there should not be a Bag of Holding.

Agreed. Safeguarding against exploitation would probably be the most difficult aspect of this idea, but I'm sure the clever beans at Playful can figure it out ;)
