Auto-Fiil Disable ?
Hi is there a way to disable the new aut-fill blueprint feature. (aside from pressing Shift all the time). I didn't see any option in the setting. Maybe there is a console Code that can be use ?

I like the new blueprint option but I think this new auto-fill takes out the joy and relaxing feeling I get from building stuff one block at a time.

Than you.

Right now, auto-fill is mandatory. I moved your thread to the Suggestions subforum.

yeah, the burst fill is great but maybe having it as the default isn't super wonderful

swapping it might be the better option (holding shift to use burst-fill)

I feel the same way... Swapping them would be woderful! Cause I never know when I would have liked to learn how someone did something. If I just fills it with out me knowing.

Yes, it is possible to disable auto-fill. Go into your "Game Settings" and click on "Controls". There is a toggle option at the bottom for "Blueprint Fill". Just uncheck it.

Confirmed. Although I've grown to like the auto-fill.

Yes it can be turned off, but that is beside the point. Most of these comments state that the new ability is useful but should not have taken the place of the existing function. The burst-fill should require the extra button push. The single-block placement should remain as is.

That I can agree on.

Actually, turning off blueprint fill does swap the functions. Place single blocks like normal, then hold shift to use auto-fill.

i guess all whats left to this topic is simply an update to the tooltip in the options

MetalMom figured out already that the disableoption in the options actually does swap the settings (what is what we were asking for over the course of the thread)

:steamhappy:

That is good news. Perhaps they should have mentioned this in the release notes or better yet in the setting description. Either way I am happy it's a thing. Good catch.
