Sound bug when I quit the game

Hello.
Every time when I quit the game I have a permanent sound bug and I have to reboot the computer. Do you have any advice? Thanks for your efforts.


My Computer - all drivers are up to date.

CPU - I3-3220 / 3.3GHZ
MB - MSI B75MA-45
GPU - MSI R9 270 (ATI)
RAM - 16Gbyte
Sound - Asus Xonar DG Audio

WIN7 Pro 64bit

What sound are you hearing? Is it a sound you recognize from the game?

It sounds like a compressor - as loop. It's not a part of the game sound.

Does it happen every time you quit? And which method are you using to quit the game?

Yes, the sound bug exits everytime I leave the game.
And there is no difference how I leave the game

menu/quit

Same here, every time I quit the game the sound stuck in a loop.
There is no running game process and still no solution except to reboot the computer :(

I don't know how easy it would be but if one of you can record it, even if it's just an audio recording of the sound, that would help us get closer to figuring this out. If you do end up doing that, either post it here or email us: [e-mail] and reference this post.

I have found a little workaround for that problem:
Don't quit the game - quit the world, than go to the task manager (ctrl + alt + del) and close the game.
No sound problem :)

I know, it's not the right way but it helps^^

I still have the same bug every time I am quitting the game. Did anyone discovered how to fix it? (clrt + alt + del method doesn't work for me)

Same Problem.
A Computer restart fix the problem (Shutdown dont work - because of hybrid mode (Win10)).
Or workaround: Device-Manager -> deactivate soundcard -> activate Soundcard

btw: Sound - Asus Xonar Essence STX + Windows 10

If your sound card has a GX mode in the settings then please turn that off. From what I have googled it looks like there are some faults with ASUS sound cards. If GX mode does not work then try downloading and installing the latest drivers from their website.
