Cannot write @ character on German keyboard
With German keyboard layout, writing the @ character using either "AltGr + q" or "Ctrl + Alt + q" is not possible. This makes inserting an email address in the verification field impossible.

Hi DarkSeti,

Sorry you're having this issue. For now, I can recommend a couple workarounds.
  • Try typing your e-mail address somewhere else, then copy/pasting it into the e-mail field.
  • Type the '@' by using the Alt keyboard sequence Alt 64. To type a special character using an Alt keyboard sequence:
    1. Ensure that the Num Lock key has been pressed, to activate the numeric key section of the keyboard.
    2. Press the Alt key, and hold it down.
    3. While the Alt key is pressed, type the sequence of numbers (in this case, 64)
    4. Release the Alt key, and the character will appear.
See if either of those steps will work for you.

Thanks a lot, it worked using Alt + 64.

You need to type the 64 on the keypad (hence step 1 in Brainsloth's answer), using the row of numbers above the letters won't work.
