Game opens in a very tiny window

Hi all, I've been trying some tips from old threads on how to fix this. The game opens in a tiny window. Alt enter makes it full screen but very blurry so I can't read any of the options well enough to go into Game Settings and try to change this. Ctrl click or shift click or anything click on the play button just opens the game. Any advice?

Press and hold Alt button, click Play. There should be a popup telling you to select resolution, choose the right resolution for your computer, eg. 1920x1080.

If you see it pixelated, very likely you chose a small resolution but selected it to display in full screen..

Just tried. Alt play just opens the game and doesn't give any options to change anything. :(

don't let go of the alt button.. I just tested it works. look in your taskbar below you'll see it. What's your computer resolution? are you on windows?

This is the trick to the process. You have to hold ALT and click Play. Keep holding ALT until a new window opens (likely in the background but you should be able to see the new taskbar item). Then you can let go of ALT and choose your resolution.

AHA this worked thanks! It keeps opening with different sizes each time but the alt fix works. I switch back and forth between my laptop and a small tv so it might be getting confused.

i have the same problem on my school computer and nothing works. how long did you hold alt pls help =)

You would hold the alt button until a new window opens (which might be in the background and show in your taskbar) for you to choose the resolution.

If you are not getting a new window opening, then please send your world name and steam id name to [e-mail] for them to take a look at your issue

I checked your account and as far as I can tell you have never run the game Creativerse at all.

That either means you have never been able to create a Creativerse account (you get prompted the first time you launch Creativerse) or you aren't referring to Creativerse at all.

If you indeed refer to Creativerse you should be able to set the resolution from the launch settings:

-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 -screen-fullscreen 1

you can alter the width and height according to your screen resolution and you can put the fullscreen flag to zero if you want windowed mode.
