Also, just to cover all basis, did you try to scroll a webpage or something with your mouse button?
(my pleasure, I like to help even if at the moment I can only help with the more obvious stuff)
If that fails, I'd check if mouse acceleration is toggled on (it's on for me and it works fine). You may also try reverse mouse scroll separately and if that works, unckeck it to see if it has done some sort of reset.
Out of curiosity, again it might not help much, but is it a mouse that comes with a software where you can make custom keybind? (and/or profiles for games?)
On the off chance that it is, maybe you could create a profile for creativerse or check if there is an existing one.
That's pretty much what I can think of right now. Really got my finger crossed that some of it will solve your thingie. (and sorry if that seems to go about eliminating possibilities, I'm not a professional, but I try to help)
