Stuttering/Frame Rate Issues
I am having stuttering issues. My frame rate will drop from 60 to between 45-59. It's causing stuttering. It is happening all the time. When I played this last (a few months back) I didn't have this problem. I have all my settings on the lowest (Fastest).

I can play Ark on High settings, I should be able to play this without issues on the lowest settings >.<

Server fps drops?
hello :3 So I'm playing on a brand new server with literally nothing in it except a touchstone or 2. And the game drops dramatically in fps consistently every few seconds for no reason? anyone know what the issue could be? I don't typically have this issue so figured I would come and ask here. My home world lags at times but thats cuz I have a metric ton of random stuff scattered all over the place. This new one dropping like this feels abnormal XD thanks for any help you can give :3

Playing one game without issues doesn't mean every other game will. It's the most common misconception within the gaming community.

Try the things in the pinned posts. Have you cleared your cache recently?

I already verified the game files and I reinstalled the game.

Runing anything else in the background? Browser windows open? Do you only meet the minimum specs or do you exceed them? This game is CPU heavy for now.
Tanya Mar 8, 2018 @ 5:09pm
I always close as much down when playing any game. I meet the recommanded (according to Can You Run It). My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 970, 32GB of RAM, 4GB Dedicated RAM.

Currently this game is more CPU heavy than GPU. What is your processor?

I do notice I have some issues my CPU runs at normal same with everything else its not on my end I run nothing in the background. I have no firewalls or anything, stable internet. Verified everything deleted Cache and whatnot. I am getting 8 people telling me since the Forbidden update everything runs so poorly. I meet minimum requirements too.

When you enter a world type /chunkdebug

Are any of the numbers moving while you are standing still and seeing those frame drops?

If so what are the item(s) that are moving?
Voidstatic Mar 9, 2018 @ 6:46am
The dirtychunkqueue.count and c taskBuildMesh go off in a place with lots of lag but thats it.

Oh I never heard of that debug option, seems really nifty, is that something new? I already have a use for it: when the queues empty I'll feel safe for leaving an area and not worry about the chest content loss bug :P

Any other debug facility you could share, Remy?

Lag spikes – 2018 edition.
So yeah… They are still there.
Whether I move or stand still, regardless of the graphics setting I experience brief but very frequent lag spike. They occur every 3 – 5 seconds.
Dear devs, I hope you can figure something out about this issue.
