Creativerse: Unable to retrieve map info error
So my friend got this error when she opened the game this morning the error
[DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER]
Unable to retrieve map info. If this persists, check the Help page for help resolving the matter.

Unfortunately, she already tried all of the 'solutions' suggested by the game even reinstalling but the same error persists. She can join other worlds just except the one world we've been working hard on.

Can anyone help/suggest what to do? D:

If she is able to get into other worlds then it is possible that she just needs to clear her cache:

This won't affect her gameplay at all, it'll just force the client to download fresh copies of everything it needs then next time she plays. To clear her local cache:
  • On Windows[community.intuit.com], she'll delete the contents of this folder: /Users/[user]/AppData/LocalLow/PlayfulCorp/Creativerse
    • She can get here quickly by typing %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\PlayfulCorp\Creativerse into the File Address Bar or Windows Run Prompt(WIN Key + R)
  • On OS X[hints.macworld.com], she'll delete the contents of this folder: /Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/PlayfulCorp/Creativerse

This started happening to me ever since i'm experiencing the steam error code 118. Tried the cache deletion, but the problem still persist. Even tried the reverifying the game, but to no luck. It eventually went away, but after the r43 update, it started happening again.

That Steam Error Code 118 is something to do with Steam not being able to connect and isn't something to do with Creativerse. Here are there suggestions: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1456-EUDN-2493

Yes I know that. But I am having trouble getting disconnection problem since R41 was released

I tried deleting the contents of the folder but it still did not fix the problem.

If anyone has another solution please tell me. Thank you

Oh no need. Thanks for the consideration though. I finally got it to work (somehow)
