I found them on my desktop in a folder called Creativerse.

I looked through all the folders in this file path but couldn't find anything /steam/steamapps/common/creativerse/

No Deen,, on your desktop itself will be a folder called "creativerse" and inside that folder will be 1 folder for each screenshot you take with the camera button.

how do I transfer it so I can put my screenshots on steam? is there a specific file I should put it in?

So steam screenshots are stored in a folder like this...
F:\Games\Steam\userdata\65074992\760\remote\280790\screenshots

So in your Steam folder under 'userdata' there is a regular number and a negative number, the regular number is your steam id, under that number is a bunch more numbers...

The best thing you can do to find this folder is go into your game, press F12 (steam screenshot)
Go to the View menu in Steam, click the Screenshots entry, highlight a screenshot in the window that pops up, and hit View on Disk. This will open an explorer window to the directory where steam stores your screenshots, from here you can upload them to steam and put them into forums like this:

I don't have that folder anywhere in my computer. I have a mac. But the screenshots get uploaded to my world profile pic when I take them. Where else could they be?

Did you actually try following the instructions given in the previous post? Doing so on my mac gave the steam screenshot (the ones you take with F12) location as /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/108494824/760/remote/280790/screenshots.

The screenshots taken with the in-game camera still go into a folder called Creativerse on your desktop.

For the in-game camera, I have no idea where that saves the screenshots on a Mac.

I'd recommend using Steam for taking the screenshots anyway, so you can upload and share them in steam easier. I believe you need to set the screenshot key yourself though, as the default is set to F12 for Windows computers, but that won't work for you.

If you open the steam settings, there should be an In-Game section. You should be able to set your steam screenshot key from there. Then when in game you just press that key to take a screenshot. Upon exiting the game, it should then pop up a prompt for you to select and upload any screenshots you took to your online steam library and share them.

Not sure what you mean by "There is no user folder in Steam for me on my computer." - the /Users/{username}/ portion refers to your home directory on your mac, where the documents etc folder are, but if you aren't taking the screenshots with the steam screenshot functionality, the pictures wouldn't go there anyway.

Since you say you see your screenshots in your "world profile pic", are you by chance trying to take screenshots by pressing esc and clicking on the camera icon on the world preview picture? If so, that is not the in-game screenshot camera, but an interface to specifically change the world preview picture, and it won't get saved in any screenshots folders. Check settings -> controls in-game for what your in-game camera key is.

I literally mean there are no files stored on my computer in any way that correspond to creativerse and steam. Nothing. I have searched with the urls that many people have provided both with my username and as fragments. Steam that I use seems to be web based, so there is only the app icon on my computer. Same with Creativerse.

Yes I have used that esc camera button but I have also tried the F12 which does not work and the key that corresponds to Creativerse camera as well.

Ok cool. I will check the in-game and set the camera button from Steam. I couldn't figure out why everyone was saying F12 would work, but now you told me about the windows issue. I will try all of these suggestions. Thanks guys.
