What is the best way to get the Christmas recipes?
So far I haven't found enough rescued toys to afford any, and with so few trog traps I don't think I will be able to get many that way.

With halloween I just used the idol blueprint and was able to farm till my hearts content, got every recipe and a few skins. But not having any luck with this event.

The event will go on for several weeks so you may still have enough time to get the toys and the recipes - chances are it will remain active up to mid January 2021, but don't take my word for it, it's just my guess seeing how long past events lasted.

There are also likely plenty of players with lots of spare doubles from the past years, if you don't manage to get them all you may consider posting in the trading section of the forums to see if anyone can share.

Some of the past recipes and costumes aren't currently available in any way, I have queried the developers about them and hopefully we'll get some news about those soon.

Also it might be a little time consuming but hunting down the reaudolphs (the glowing nose reinbeaus) can get a little more toys than just the boxes,I usually got a hundred from them every time i caught one.
Thanks for the tip Sun, that does help quite a bit. Seems like the fastest way to farm rescued toys is by flying around looking for presents and reaudolphs. I found out that if I don't land every once in a while stuff doesn't seem to spawn as much. So landing and looking about seems to help. Overall a pretty boring way to get the recipes but I guess I will just grind them out.

They have kindly released the catch-up pack of Elfi's recipes (Christmas recipes). They have released it before and I'm not sure if it's everything, but a good amount of recipes and block samples there. That should save you a lot of farming.

Frozen oceans are best for treasure hunting, I just run in big circles around, often from one holiday gift to the next. When things spawn in the distance, there is a graphical effect, often that are creatures, but when you see this effect without a creature, then it must be a holiday gift - head in that direction.

Alas, any of the 3 different Trog traps aren't that easy to do when compared to its Pumpkiru's Idols counterparts. And that also applies to harvesting Places, because I've created one upon my world and apart Wurm Hunting it pretty much does all of the Pumpkiru's Idols alone (i.e., after placing the Idols) and can do several at the same time too. ^^

Unfortunately, I still haven't came up with a creation setting that can work similarly for the Trogginton's (Traps) event. *Shrugs shoulders*

Yeah, it's a complete re-release of previous year's Recipes Pack and it does contain all the previous years' recipes that were presented to players during those events. And provided that it's for free this year, I think that it's trully worthy to grab it... because even if you already unlocked all those recipes, you can always keep those around in a chest for friends or newer players into the game. ;)

Yep, I've been doing great just running around frozen oceans... very chill experience! ;) It really is quite addictive, loading up on lots of stuff. :)

last time i did this i found a fast way to collect from rienbeaus by chasing them into the liquid ocean from a frozen one. They run right in and drown. You can get 2-3 at a time fairly easily, more if you're good at herding, and all the running around will also spawn lots of gifts

I don't think that will ever be possible. While the Halloween event has several different scenarios, they all boil down to "kill everything". The one that doesn't (looting chests) and the Warmwurm scenario (which is difficult to kill everything in enough time) can both be done quickly by forcing spawns in a small area.

Christmas events do very well when forced in a small spawn area (platform). But they're far too interactive and DO NOT boil down to "kill everything". Luckily, they're incredibly easy if you team up with other players and if you generously use the buffs dropped by the events. With only 2 of us working together, I don't think we failed a single event. I took everything north of the trap, other player took everything south. For capture the flag, we alternated (unless the previous player was super close).

IIRC, attacking the incorrect target on the "eye spy" games will penalize you, so traps are a really bad idea.

Also, don't forget this:

Not only an epic blueprint, but loaded with oodles of useful information regarding individual events and how to best handle them.

If you're solo, don't worry! I was solo my first year and easily collected enough candy for 3 years of recipes. You won't win every event but you'll do fine.

It's nice they were giving some old holiday recipes for free.
But is there a way to obtain the other old holiday recipes?
Like the LED Tree Block, the Holiday Window, the White/Red Brick Fireplace, the holiday carpets, ... and others?
They were not in the free bundle and are not available for purchase at the store or at the Elfi.

Edit: And also, when and where do the Reaudolphs spawn? I've only seen two so far at the very beginning of the event. Never seen them after that.

I am also wanting to get the other blueprints that are not available and don't know if this is an oversight by the Devs or if it is a case that they are no longer available?

There is a set of recipes that isn't currently available due to a technical issue - it was released as 2018 Furniture bundle in 2019, hopefully the devs will get that one sorted out in the next days to let everyone get those recipes.

The LED Tree Block should be part of the Reprise 2020 bundle currently in the store but it may as well have been glitched in the latest hours, should be fine now - if anyone got that bundle and didn't get the LED Tree Block recipe please get in touch with support@playfulstudios.com (making sure to send the message using the address you have in the in-game profile, accessible from the main screen) and I'll manually unlock that recipe for you.

https://creativerse.fandom.com/wiki/LED_Tree_Block

Please spread the word to your friends because the glitch may have affected all the players that got the bundle in the past hours / days.

Is there another way for me to get the LED Tree Block?

Hopefully the Elfis Wonderland Furniture Bundle will be available soon :)
For this very purpose there is no need to validate the email address from in-game, I just need it to match with the message you'll send to support@playfulstudios.com

Send a message to that address asking for the unlock of the LED Tree Block and I'll take care of that, I can also unlock the 2018 Furniture bundle.
