Stone gate anyone?

So we're trying to build a fence/pen area for our pets but there isn't a stone or wood gate for the fences. how do you get their recipies. do they even exist?

They do exist but I can't recall how I accessed them. Possibly it was making wooden ladders, then the wooden fence opened up and making those opened the wooden gate recipe. Same thing for stone.

But my friend and i have made wooden fences and stone gates but the recipe for the gates never opened.

If you have the items needed to make it then it should show up the items for wood gate are wood rod 2 wood slab 2 twine 1 and stone rod 1 if it still doesn't show try making all the items in furniture that you can it should unlock and Iron gate unlocks after you make iron fence that one looks pretty cool if you're wanting one that looks good

alright but my friend made the stone gate and the recipe still didn't unlock for her. she even made everything she could in the furniture section and it still didn't unlock.

I thought the fence unlocked the respective gate but perhaps I'm mis-remembering. My next guess would be the stairs and/or door. Its been awhile since I've started completely over so I just dont recall for certain.

Hi crimsonmoon129,

I don't think there currently is a stone gate, but additional blocks are getting added all the time. Wood gate should unlock on wood fence, and there's an iron set, too.

An iron gate or just an iron fence? and ok so there's only wood gates right now i'll tell my friend.
