Dropping Items from Inventory

I have a question, how in the world do you drop items from your inventory ? like recipies and stuff that you can not actually put in your tool bar ?

I'm exploring caves and looting chests and monsters and i got a few of the same recipies i already learned and i need to clear space but i can't figure out how to drop them from myinventory. Help.

There is a trash can icon in your inventory UI that you can drag items to that you don't want. That's what I do. There may be a keybinding for it, but I'm not sure.

Omg i was completely oblivious to that ! i got used to dropping items from my tool bar with the Z key .. thank you !

if you want to delete more items, go with the mouse icon over the stack and push "Backspace". Then there comes the questen if you want destroy, another click on Backspace and it gone.

You can also drop things on the ground for other players to grab by dragging items to the icon next to the trash can. They'll appear as a purple bag on the ground.

There is also a hotkey for when you want to delete an item or a stack of items. All you have to do is hover over the item in your inventory screen and hit the delete key... if you hit the delete key again it will confirm the deletion of the item/stack...

If you hover over a item in your inventory and hit the backspace button it deletes them from your inventory, or if they are in your quickbar that hover over them and hit z to drop them on the ground for other people to have.
