Can villager use teleport?

Can villager use teleport by accident? I have pushed creatures to teleporter instead hitting them with my sword and I know they disappear through it, but never went after them and see , if they really were transferred to other side...
I had cook in the same room as teleporter , and randomly he disappeared and I did not find him anywhere. Now i have teleporter in the same room as my machinist, and he also vanishes like cook before...
They come back , when I log out from my world and login again.

well. i don't know, i have never heard of a villager teleporting, but maybe he was able to walk through, you'll have to look up more about it, but since this game is living and changing everyday, i'm sure the Creators would keep an eye on This, one out of a 1,000 times you'd think they'd just stay still, but, maybe they do like to move around, try another one of the 4 (FOUR) starter islands, and Remaster Your Experience

Don't quote me on this because I'm not sure I'm remembering right, but as far as creatures are concerned they can use the teleporters but will only actually appear on the other side IF the destination teleporter is also in a loaded chunk, meaning a player has to be nearby at the time. I'd assume Villagers are the same as long as a teleporter is within their wander range anyway.

Teleporter tip: When placing a teleporter down you should first place a block down (1x1x1) then the tele on top of the block. Then remove the block and set the telecode. This will prevent any thing from accidently teleporting, but inorder to use the tele you will have to jump. You sould also keep them away from thinks like chairs, tables, or any block that could be stepped on then they fall into the tele.

LOL... I remember back in the day going about my business building and seeing this pigsy go flying sideways through the air. Then there was something mentioned by brainsloth about not letting the pigsies go through the teleporter. I never know if he was joking or it would "break" the world or something.

I just caught one in my spawner trap. Of course this was not one of my owned ones.

Mine has walked through my teleporter while I was watching. Mine never came back though, I had to pick it up and replace it. I just decided not to let that one move around anymore instead of moving her or my teleporter.
