No clearer glass than this?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1203419055

The glass blocks have what looks like smeared grease on them. So I thought maybe the actual glass panes with wood surround might do the trick but apparently not. They are so opaque that you can't really see through them unless your standing way back and even then it's a fog.

Is there seriously no other blocks that I can craft that will give me a clear view through them?

Regular glass and the reinforced glass are both really clear.

Thanks, I'll search for them in the crafting menu

Here are 2 sites that are very helpful, if you have not run across them yet. :) I still use them quite often.

Nope, reinforced glass is the same grease smeared glass block with some iron also obscuring the view.

Actually if you dim down your lighting, it's quite clear.

Also off your flashlight, it can frost up your glass too.

City Builder, nope, no clearer glass than the options you've seen so far. Glass blocks used to be really transparent (pretty much close to invisible) according to what I read in some other threads recently, but they were smeared with grease afterwards (because people ended up with lots of dead chizzards splattered on them, I guess... or not?).

If memory serves, people complained that the glass was too clear and it was like nothing was there. Somewhere along the line this haze was applied. Maybe they should half the haze or put in a tiny sparkle.

You're right! too much light inside a build makes a glass on a windows smokey.

It helped a bit turning off my personal light but still hazy as if I was looking in my bathroom mirror after a hot shower unfortunately.

Maybe turning off the lights in the ceiling will help, will have to try that too, though I like the light so trading one for another isn't the best option even if it may well be the only option.

ok I checked back at one of my build.

It used to be like a window display/museum kind-of which you could see through.. but now it's not how it's supposed to look.. sadly I don't have the before screenshot for comparison.

I'm still playing on Map/world #2 which is not available anymore and my old glass looks like today's.

Yeah, I imagine they changed the texture (something I wish we could do) so old worlds and new worlds will have the same textures (Just a guess though).

I would love to see windows with clearer glass as a varient tbh.
But then again, I would run/fly into those glass walls everytimes lol

This. I hate to be bugging Playful for more and more tiles, but both clear and 'greasy' glass have their fans. Personally, I find the basic glass to be useless, since you can't really see through it like, you know, GLASS. Maybe a setting for how glass looks could be added to the game preferences menu?
