I've bought all the block sets, and almost all of the costumes. With the amount of time I've played in Creativerse, Pro is an absolute deal and a half! I fully encourage you to support the hard working devs at Playful...
I'm not saying you're completely wrong. The pro flashlight is a great perquisite (i.e. "perk"). But it's not the best light to be had by a long shot, and it does diddly squat to inhibit mob spawns.
I eventually supported these developers after 2-3 months of playing for absolutely free. And I was happy with everything on the free side. I could have been happy playing for free forever. The free game they offer is amazing. Which is exactly why I decided they were worth supporting. Ironic?
McDonalds is a multi billion dollar company worldwide. So what's the point of supporting our favorite local restaurants? It's NOT worth it, I suppose. We should all just eat McDonalds all the time.
Carry on. You think you intelligently contradicted my statements. You didn't contradict a single one. No, really. Read them again. Read your reply. It's incredibly entertaining.
I'm supporting a small outfit trying to build something. You're trying to tear it down, kowtowing to a huge syndicate, bought out, available for $30 up front, no free side at all. You keep fighting that cause. They don't need you, don't care about you, don't even know you exist. But you know your own worth, and tearing down this game is a righteous cause that will give your life meaning.
On a good note, Minecraft actually introduced faces with more than 8 pixels across. That's like doubling the nuggets in your Happy Meal. Remember, your life means something.
We meet again.
Y'all should just issue me a leash & a muzzle. It's way, way past due. After multiple decades around this sun, I still can't play nicely with others. And I'm far too passionate for anyone's good.
Every time this happens, I'm right in the middle of it. How many times have we talked? And how many times have I talked with Shiva, and JoJo, and everyone else? Why am I still frolicking free?
As stated, I played several months before spending a dime on this game. After seeing Minecraft, I had my doubts. But the worlds here were so much prettier, the music always amazing, the whole game just CUTER. Before I realized it, I'd been playing for several months and was having the time of my life.
It was time to throw a few dimes the devs' way. No, you're not supporting a gigantic syndicated corporation with millions of players every single month. You are supporting a game that YOU enjoy. You don't need millions of other people to make up your mind for you. Decide for yourself. Be your own sheep.
Since then, PRO rewards (quite recently) have gotten way better. Everything in the store at a discount, glider skins, flashlight skins. And we always had double energy, extra bagspace. $20 for PRO here is less than the basic Minecraft package. You decide.
The best part? You can play for free as long as you want while you think about it. Need some blocks? Someone else can craft them for you (just be nice & grab the mats). Free players now have access to jetpacks, seasonal potions to jump infinitely, limited fall damage from badges (which is REALLY limited, btw--I abuse the snot out of that) and a ground smash that negates all fall damage even from the top of the world. Plus the superjump bug is... I haven't seen it in ages. I really think it's gone.
You don't even NEED pro. This game is amazing without it. But it's nice to have and totally worth the purchase.
