16 blocks enter, but only one can earn ETERNAL GLORY

Hiya folks,

If you're not already following us on Twitter, you've made Twiggy, the Twitter-loving creature very sad. But more importantly, you're missing out on BLOCK MADNESS!

The team may be hard at work on some exciting future features, but I managed to bribe convince them to sneak one slab / slope / corner / column block set into an upcoming update. But which block deserves the love?

Ehehehh... I think it's okay. It's a way to promote the Twitter medium, a way to test response from players, it may very well be that they're working on other stuff and such small cosmetic additions plunge to the bottom of the TODO list and Brainsloth may have really had to do some magic to bring us this very thing in this very moment. Who knows.

We've seen stuff, even very interesting stuff, added without any particular anticipation, stuff that every player could take advantage of (that is, non-premium stuff).

Well said. Also would like to point out that a much more prominent complaint on the forums is about bug fixes and optimization rather than more blocks. Don't get me wrong, I want more block, I want all the blocks!!! but there are very, very old bugs that still need working out. I for one hope that's where the priority lies. Every day I see new and interesting ways to utilize the current block set, so I'm cool if it's lower on the priority list than bugs and server work.

From the options presented here, I'd probably pick Sand Castle or Hardened Lava since I can imagine it being quite practical for builders. ^^
Many times the lack of angles to approach building with those (yeah, yeah... the pun was sort of intended) kind of forces us to dodge a more large scale usage.

And sorry for presenting my opinion here, but ain't exactly a Twitter user. ;'p

Well, two of the most requested are salt and asphalt.

Although I still believe every block should have its corresponding slab slope stair corners columns etc. as a standard.

Since Twitter blocked my account as "being suspicious", my vote goes to Weathered Wood Wall.
Love the dark wood and would love to get my hands on some slabs for making panelled walls and boardwalks / docks.

Even though I already voted, every time someone mentions another block I'm like "ooh yeah that one too!" lol. I just wants them all!

I don't use twitter either, but there seems to be a voting system where we get to choose for each match. The winners will then enter the 1/4 finals, and we get to vote again and so on to the final.
So for now, there are 8 to pick, and I'm guessing only the votes on twitter will be taken into account :/
