Edit: if it's not and the world doesn't allown tnt, then you should claim an area and change the tnt setting in your claim. iirc the tar needs tnt to be allowed. Diamond otoh can be made by slamming a coal node using diamond (lumite?) mining cell (mouse mid click by default).
Don't waste your resources making Advanced or Super extractors just to use them on coal or diamonds. Use them if you have them from chests or critters, but don't make them.
Save the Super extractors from the daily bonuses for iron, obsidian, and lumite.
Supers are not worth crafting since they made that change to the recipe (from 4 stone rods + 4 obsidian rods to its current formula). Reserve the login ones for Iron, lumite, and occasionally obsidian (specially when starting in a new world).
But coal and diamond, with just plain and advanced extractors is enough. Unless I'm doing a specific build or trying to get all the resource-buyable claims, I usually content myself using the extractors I get from chests.
