What option to set to open inventory?

I'm trying to figure out what option in the controls I have to set so that I have a key to open my inventory directly.

I watched a video or something that suggested that I need to bind a key to "Bag" but I'm just not seeing bag as an option that I can bind a key to.

I'm having to press my Q key and then use the mouse to get to my inventory and it's getting a big tiresome.

I basically use Q for crafting panel and E to activate items in the world I'd like to set B as the key to open my character inventory if possible.

Set "Menu" to the B key then. :)

Your inventory was the E key but since you changed it do as auntielynds just said

Uhm, is nobody else but me setting their inventory key to "i" (for "Inventory")?
I do that in all games that allow me to customize my key settings :D

The key option for the inventory/bag is called "Menu" in the list of key "controls" (in the game settings).

most of mmorpg use "I" as inventory or bag..
i prefer to use ` because i'm used to source programs

I’ve set the inventory to both “Q” & “E,” with the crafting menu at the “{“ & “}” keys, the map at “X,” auto run at “space bar,” jump at “mouse wheel down,” & the glider at “mouse button 3.”

I almost always never use I since I'm right handed and it's far quicker to press a key with my left hand on the keyboard.

Would love to see the E key capable of both, interacting with an object like a chest, as well as when not looking at a highlighted item it would open up the inventory. Would be really convenient to me.

I use i for inventory in rpg and mmo games but i use f for it in this game. I guess because it's closer to my fingers and I'm using it a lot. I'm kinda used to f being an alternate use key from playing gta5. At the time i got this game i didn't have a flashlight but now when i do i leave the flashlight on anyway. In fps games i usually have f for flashlights.

If you plays a lot of games you tend to change almost every game keybinding to suit your playstyle. Everyone has thier own.
