Note:

We've been monitoring reports of excessive crashing over the last couple releases, and we're working actively to reduce crashing and improve the gameplay experience. One major step towards eliminating memory-related crashes will be for us to upgrade Creativerse to a 64-bit version.

For the huge majority of our players, this will be a seamless transition, and you won't have to do anything but enjoy the improved performance. However, a very small subset of our players are currently running 32-bit versions Windows, which will cease to be supported when Creativerse becomes 64-bit. If you're not sure whether you're on a 32 or 64-bit OS, we've compiled some informative links in this thread.

We're announcing this change now so everyone has plenty of time to make sure they're 64-bit compatible. We'll absolutely post again with a more definite timeframe as we get closer to making the switch to 64-bit.

I've sent them another e-mail, apologising for my curt response by e-mail... but hoping that they can understand that after waiting six days, only to get a response basically asking for everything again... there was some justification to my being upset with them.

Another problem happened tonight, planting things, only to wait a short while... re-log to get the login chests that I'd forgotten... and then returned and the planting had all been undone. This time, however, I knew about the log file so I provided that.

So, I've given them everything I can... once more... and we'll see what the response is.

However, I think they've got a serious transaction/synchronisation problem between client and server, which does seriously impede the ability to enjoy the game. Not good.

It could be your ISP. Could also be due to the higher volumes of traffic due to the event. Hopefully some of this will get better once they make the switch to 64 bit
ISP was eliminated with testing. Ping rates to other services were fine. I did notice that the game lagged in some areas, particularly where there was a lot of building going on, (large blueprint) and also chunks with a fair amount of blocks in, like mountain ranges, etc. so I lowered the graphics settings to ease the load... that's all I can do. I'm already using a 64 bit OS, so I'm ready for whatever they do client side (although my more powerful gaming rig is Linux... it's only Creativerse and Lineage 2 that I run Windows for now.)

It's been nearly a week, and no response from support... so I don't know what to think. I can only form a judgement about them, based on their response... and so far I've had 6 days and ask me for all the information again... and now another 6 days, and radio silence. I'll give it another week before I start to abandon the game all together. I'm hearing that average realistic support turn around for help is about 2 days, so I don't see myself as being unreasonable.

Your ticket is being looked at and I will hopefully get a response out soon. You have not been forgotten or ignored.

I would also like to chime in here ... something that has not been mentioned.

Adding posts to an unrelated thread is called hyjacking. The problem with doing this is that your post could get buried , especially if the thread is an Event with tons of posts.

It's always best to start a new post, in the appropriate subforum and in the case where an email to support is needed also, you then reference that thread in your email. That alone can save not only you frustration but the Help team time in locating all info about your issue/request/situation.

My deepest apologies if you did make a thread in Bugs and Issues, I searched your name and didn't see anything.

I might also note that Playful is not 'in the office' on weekends. That factors in as well for man hours.
Thanks folks, I thought that this was a general thread, the way that the first post was, and the way the discussions were going. But I'll stop posting in this thread if that's the right thing to do. Apologies if I got it wrong. I did post in the "new bugs" thread, and thought I'd posted it there, but Sheep was kind enough to point me to my actual post, so I continued from there.

Knowing I'm in the queue is superb. I'll just sit back and let you folks do your stuff, when it's my turn. Although I've changed my base, I've left the two trouble chests alone for your investigation. Hope it can turn up something worthwhile.

Thank you very much for your understanding.
