Do trees grow?

Ok, I want to use jungle tree wood (Wildwood) for building. However, since you can only get saplings from 3 types of trees and this tree is not one of them, does this mean that if I remove all jungle trees, will they be gone forever? Or if I only remove some parts, will they regrow? Like, leaves and "branches"?

No, they don't regrow, however there are quite a few jungles in the world, I'd be surprised if any one used up all the wood.

Oh ok. Is the world limited? Or is it like Minecraft and goes on forever?

It's limited, check out my Unoficial FAQ guide and the guide about biome... find your map and where all the jungles are :D (edit : 6th section)

Kinda strange that not all trees have saplings. So what does the "More regrowth" option do then exactly?

Faster regrowth also makes crops from farming grow faster.

Yeah, it's sad. So far, only the original three kinds of trees have saplings, but not those that were implemented later. I hope they'll get saplings, too.

It's been suggested a lot, so this leave me speculating why it's not been implemented yet. I see two possibilities : (a) been busy with other features, (b) they intend to revamp the actual saplings and release all of them together?

Got my fingers crossed for b.
