One of the uses for codes, is to give them to streamers/youtubers to give out. Playful wanted to get an idea of who was viewing the streams and VoD from youtube. Specifically, are any new players coming from watching these vids.
Instead of looking at the code redemptions and saying "Hey, this person has redeemed 20 codes... not a new person" and "oh, this guy has only redeemed one code... new person" -- they instead chose to restrict the codes, so that if Youtuber-YYY and Youtuber-ZZZ both have the new type of code I am calling "first-time user" code, then once you put either one in, it will exclude the other. All others (from that class of codes.)
So, what does this enforce?

Playful now uses their redeem system for streamers of all medias aimed at new players ... and the occasional Playful direct redeem codes. This thread is being locked. Thank you
