What augmentations are worth it?
Im doing a complesionist run and im pretty sure i will get EVERY aug (maybe missed xp from police computers and 2 d-ballers so i migt miss 1) but i was wondering how some of the augmentations seem so... useless.

Hacking anylise : REALLY?? Scan a node to see your chances, IT ALREADY DOES THAT!

Scan datanode to see whats inside : i always get them anyway no matter what, got 101 nuke viruses and 97 stop worms atm ;)

Hyper Oxigynation : both will add 5 seconds to your sprint BUT add 5 seconds to your cooldown, so your still going to spend the exact same amount of time to get smewhere, youve just wasted 2 praxis kits -.-

these are the only 3 i really have a problem with, i think that there should be energy upgrades to make it so that more that 1 cell recharges, would greatly improve motvation for praxis points.

Also the aug to mark targets can be quite helpful i think, knowing hwere all the enemies in the local area are without sight or using energy to look through walls is good.

no point in this post btw, just wanted to rant bout it you know? What you think?

The only thing I can think with the Hyper-Oxygenation is you get a longer initial burst in which you can run away from trouble.

There are a number of augs I have never used:
Recoil Compensation
Aim Stabilizer
Fortify
Hacking Analysis (I agree, it already tells you detection percentage)
Run silently
Sprint silently
Jump/Land silently

Some I've tried, but not found useful:
Noise feedback
Hyper Oxygenation
Heavy Typhoon damage

I found Hacking Stealth useful on Deus Ex difficulty, but I've never felt the need for it on lower difficulty settings.
And I don't bother with the Dermal Armour upgrades any more as I tend to use more stealth these days. Though first playthrough I did kill every cop inside the Police station - but it kind of made me a wanted man on the streets !!

Fun things:
Invisibility, especially when maxed out.
Double takedowns
Icarus landing system
Seeing through walls

I tend to only redeem praxis kits when needed. In fact, I think I've always had some left over when I've got to the final boss !!

I had very nearly all of the augmentations maxed by the time I finished the game. Some were pretty useless for me, but I had so much praxis, it didn't matter whether they were useful or not.

As to what is useful early, that totally depends on your playstyle. If you don't think you'll use it right away, don't spend a point in it.

Personnaly, the punch throught walls, double take down, jump and battery recharge speed is about as much as I need on ANY playthrought.

Add dermal if doing a run and gun style, add radar is stealth, then possibly add hacking, but I remember so many of the password by hearth by now, that it's pretty mediocre overall.

I find that most of those powers are completly useless. Beside the fall damage and breaking walls.

the making no noise and invisibility are hilariously unneeded. On the hardest settings, you have more than enough time to go throught any room whitout being noticed.

As for seeing through walls, depend on how good you are at reading the map. Especaly upgraded one.
