Coop max number of players?

I seen "Co-op Stealth Gameplay" video and I have a question - how many players can play together? I have 3 friends, we played many games together and would like to play this.

Does this game supports 4-player coop? Also, online-only or LAN supported?

It's online-only, as we are using servers. Currently, it only supports 2 players in coop for the story campaign. There's plans to release game modes with 4 players.

Holy crap, are you kidding me? There's going to be co-op for the campaign? That's it, I'm getting two copies.

I can't even remember a good stealth game with proper co-op campaign (Splinter Cell doesn't count as it was only special missions in co-op)! About freaking time!

Now all I need is to get my GTX 1080 back from RMA and I'm golden. Can't wait!

It is still a great game at second look... What's the matter? Never play single player games?

I don´t like singleplayer games, too. 4 player coop would be perfect.

Hard to justify buying this or the sequel when the devs said there would be 4 player co-op and gave up on it.
