Can you use the nightfall characters in the base game's levels?
Title pls, I think it would be really cool if they're not limited to just the new levels, considering the levels' playtime is fairly short, I think it'd be a waste.
Edit: In the base game levels and workshop levels*, I forgot to mention that, my bad.

Sorry, they aren't usable in the base campaign and are exclusive to the DLC.
That's... disappointing. Thanks for the reply anyways.
Are they at least usable in workshop levels?

Nope, exclusive to the DLC D:
..So you just introduced two new characters that will only be playable for about an hour and that's it?

Well, the time will vary between players, but that's not factoring in the difficulty and what kind of run you're doing.

You can easily extend that time by completing everything it has to offer from obtaining all medals, katanas (collectibles) and completing the game in the three difficulties if you wish.
While that may be true, I think a normal player probably wouldn't play the DLC again after completing everything it has to offer, correct? People would just move back to the workshop levels where they can still experience new things. This bothers me because you essentially gave us two new characters with new powers that will never be used again outside of the DLC and will probably never be played again after completion.

Agreed, i would also like to see the characters outside of the DLC.

It looks like the discussion stopped here, I hope you will at least take this into suggestion Howl. It would certainly add more incentive to buy the DLC for Aragami players, and more incentive for people who have never even heard of Aragami to buy the shadow pack.

P.S. It obviously wouldn't make sense for those characters to be available in the base game by default. So I'd suggest the characters to be made available after completion of the game along with the DLC. Or maybe as a reward for beating the DLC on the highest difficulty or something like that. It would certainly add replayability to the game and more incentives to play it on the hardest difficulty or collect all the collectibles.

..Another P.S. If the added powers the DLC characters have wouldn't make sense in the base game. The characters could just serve as an unlockable skin for the main character.
