Why Ryo and Shinobu fight with Sora and Hikaru? Are they not a friend??

From what I understand they were stopping Sora and Hikaru bringing back Yuki, if he came back it would of stopped their "master" coming back, the final boss from the main-game. Sora and Hikaru are from the light end while Ryo and Shinobu are the shadow end, so not sure where you got that they are friends or would be.

Ryo was the Kaiho (Light) captain that died sealing Yamiko and was later summoned as the Aragami. Hyo is the one that you can play as on Nightfall. He was the foster father and right hand of Yamiko on Nisshoku (Shadow) and one of the higer ranks of Dakudaga (Nisshoku's antecesor).
On the ending of Nightfall what Sora Hikaru and the Alchemist are trying to do is to pass a part the fragment of Yamiko's soul sealed inside Yuki to an object so he does not have to bear all the weight of it. When finally the fragment escapes it goes back to Yamiko, who regains part of her power and is able to summon the Aragami.
