How does unlocking skins work?

Just looking for some clarification, so I started Multiplayer with a friend and we were working on killing all enemies and have reached chapter 8.

I decided I could obtain a few medals in the early missions doing the No Kills, No Detection Medals Solo and i've noticed the Oni Medals (Kill All) aren't highlighted anymore?

Does this mean I'll have to do those chapters again?
So you HAVE to do 6-13 chapters in a row to unlock particular skins?

You probably haven't unlocked the Oni Medals on some difficulties, but for the skins to unlock it doesn't matter the difficulty or the order of chapters. Let's say that you beat chapters 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 with the Oni medal in normal difficulty -> You should unlock the first Oni skin.

I have 7 medals and mines not unlocking the devil skin.

Hi Puds,

Make sure you have Aragami - Assassin Masks Set ticked in the Aragami Steam Propeties -> DLC Tab

Make sure that you do have 6 Oni Medals on the chapter select screen too :)

Just to make sure too, if you have played for example, Chapter 1 on all three difficulties and unlocked the Oni Medal for all three difficulties it will not add up to make 3 Oni medals, just one.

Then why is it an option to acquire the medals on all difficulties seperately if there's not reward for doing so? For the sake of completionism?
