How's co-op?

Always looking for good multiplayer co-op games. Since this game is listed as "co-op" i wonder how co-op gameplay is? Is it worth it? is it good, etc.
Got 4 friends who'd like to play but 2 player co-op is fine also.

Is co-op just the campaign with two players? I'm ok with that. Or is it just a smaller mode? A buddy and me want to get this but we want to have a decent duration to our gameplay.

Co-op is both campaign with two players (same levels as single player) and custom missions from the workshop if the map-maker has allowed it.

My friend and I played through the entire campaign in multiplayer. We had a great time, and are now going back through to get all the remaining scrolls/kill all/kill none/undetected accomplishments to unlock all the skins (I really want the Ghost, but completing the whole game undetected?? Gods, that's gonna be tough.

Once we unlock all the powers, we're really looking forward to the fan maps. We got this game specifically BECAUSE we always look for multiplayer games we can go through together. I play on my gaming laptop, and he plays on a game pc hooked up to his tv, so whenever I go to his place to hang out, we try to play multiplayer games so neither of us is left out. We have both agreed that Aragami has been a great purchase, and we still haven't even started custom maps yet!

Just one thing: When playing in multiplayer through the main campaign, the 'joining' player will not get credit on their level list for scrolls found. So while I can see which levels I missed scrolls on, so I can get them all, my friend has to just use the scroll detect on each level we replay to see if any show up...
