What difficulty are you playing at? Maybe just tune down the difficulty if it's too hard for you? Getting the skill scrolls from any difficulty shares across the entire game. Meaning you can play easy mode get the skills first, then come back to play normal/hard mode with the skills your learnt, even for a previous chapter. Once you learnt corpse vanish and kunai, plus the Bell from chapter 3, the game gets much easier.

I'm Playing On Hard Mode Because I've Completed Easy And Normal. Also, I'm ♥♥♥♥ At The Game Either Way... XD
