Game still doesn't launch

Even after patches that said the issue was fixed, it's simply not the case it seems for most people. The internet hasn't seemed to have found any sort of workaround and I highly doubt this game would need to be asking much from most computers. I really am hoping for more patch attempts, because almost two months into release and this shouldn't still be giving customers this problem. If anyone has any possible fixes, I'd love to hear them.

I've been reading some things what were supposed to fix the issue, but none of them worked. By the way, after the second patch I wrote to the developers about the problem (the game still not working for me either), but the only respond was a "I'm really sorry to hear about that" message. Still waiting for a new update, but I was thinking about a refund, because the whole problem is a joke at this point. I understand that people are working on to fix the problem, but why should anybody release an almost 30 years old point-and-click game what just simply doesn't work for so many people?

Now game works for me, but I have an issue.

When I updated game yesterday it didn't work. I completely uninstalled game and installed it again and it didn't work. I did shut down my pc. Today I turned on my computer and game started to work. I'm not sure if reinstalling whole game helped anything. Maybe I just had to turn off and turn on my computer after updating game.

I guess game suppose to work in 60fps, but I encountered heavy stuttering causing to sound to pop and game couldn't regain stable 60fps. Restarting the game didn't seem to help. Only way to fix this was to turn off computer and turn it on. I don't know if it was only one time occurrence. If I will have more lag issues I will write about this. Overall when the game is not lagging it seems to be running more smoothly than when I managed to launch it after October update.

I played game today and I haven't experienced any lag issue. Maybe lag was caused by loading up old save from before update. I'm not sure if that old save was an issue, but I deleted it anyway.

Still not working for me, even after the last patch... It's worth stating though, that not everyone is experiencing issues, so I'd say it's worth a try, since the game itself is not bugged at all (afaik).

Game don't launch! I get error "setprocessdpiawarenesscontext" in DLL user32.dll ! Will be patch for solving this Problem?

I tried getting the game to launch for me on the 24th Dec, did a bunch of the things people have said in the comments to try, nothing worked. Refunded and moved on. Game would not even start at all. It's either Win 10 or my monitor resolution this game really hates. I'm using a 1280x1024 monitor.

Are you on Windows 10 or 11?

I am on Windows 7. I saw before buying that game made for win10, Intel i3 and RAM 4Gb. My PC have Intel i5 and RAM 8Gb. If there is problem because of my win7 (I guess that in your question) I say that there are games (a lot of them) officially for win10 but perfectly launch on win7 (I have few of them). Clock tower rewind like ones before it - Disney afternoon, Aladdin & Lion King, Chrono trigger, collections of Contra, Castlevania, Double Dragon, Megamen and SEGA games... All of them launch on win7. Why CT-R (that like them) don't launch on win7 (I guess not only for me)? I don't know what write else to convince you. Why it don't have officially "Windows 7, 8, 10, 11"? Make patch for compatibility for Window 7 (please)!

This does seem like the problem is that you are on an unsupported version of Windows. Many new releases will not continue to have official Win7 support now unfortunately as Windows, themselves, have ended support for that operating system roughly 5 years ago now.
