Report a translation problem
that game was sick (except for the parts where you were the little dude trudging through buildings outside the mech)
i never got past the 1st level on FM:GH :P, i never could keep interested in it long enough :(
i think what reminded me of the game was mainly just the mech and its green army camo colour same as its founding game XD
if memory serves it was a japanese front mission game not sure if it was translated to english
...if it did england didn't get it.......... just like a load of awesome games thats come out.. never got released in england >.< (shakes fist at england),,, damn you england XD
<edit>
oh i just got thinking i better delete this post incase some douche bag reports it for "copying a load of stuff from gunhazrd" and doing what some a-hole did to motor rock racing =/
(the rock and roll racing remake)
dont recall who did it
They clearly state:
ill be honest :P, no i didn't XD...
i saw mechs (which im a big fan of) ARMORED CORE ALL THE WAY :P
i looked it up, looks at the screenshots, saw the green gunhazard style mech and thought
oh! its front mission :).

It's more of Metroidvania than mech shooter, but Valdis Story oughta fit nicely. It has really good action, but also very good RPG mechanics (ie builds, stats, and skill trees that make quite a difference, and there are a bunch you can try out).
Metal Warriors was also published by Konami but made by LucasArts in the same style as Cybernator/Valken, making it kind of an unofficial followup.
Gun Hazard was made largely by the same team responsible for Cybernator/Valken.
There was also a Leynos 2 which largely serves as the inspiration for the other Assault Suits style indie game, Armored Hunter Gunhound EX.
It's a tangled web I know. :P
