But if you're in the endgame at this point and haven't done that before, then yes, it sounds like grinding would be your only option.
On the other hand, you should be able to beat the end game without all upgrades, too. Having them should just make it easier.
And in the middle game I had more resources than I knew what to do with too. But once you have the final tier of equipment unlocked, and you need to repair the Javelin (each part is a 1000+ aluminium), you quickly eat through those, and by then the only way to get more resources is to kill creatures, which only give you tiny amounts each.
I know because I just pretty much 100% the game with almost 3,000 of each resources leftover...
