As a passionate gamer with a deep love for exploration, I'm genuinely baffled: why is there no direct hotkey for the world map? Instead, I have to press J to open the journal, then click a tab to see the map? Really?

It's 2025, not the Stone Age of UI design. You gave me a "compass" that feels about as helpful as licking my finger and holding it to the wind, but no minimap and no single-button map access? After my 200th time trying to check my bearings mid-mission, I'm starting to feel like the real revenge is on me.

Please, give us a map button. My sanity and my keyboard will thank you.

Weird, on controller the menu button, which I presume is tab on kb, remembers the last tab you were on so once you leave it from map it just automatically pulls up the map every time until you change it.

and 99.99% of the time you're looking at the map when opening that menu

It absolutely doesn't on keyboard. I beat the game and all side quests, not once did it ever remember I was on the map.
