Has anyone found a fix yet??

I'm trying to join my friends game on gamepass but not working

hmm maybe enabling crossplay ? you would need to make an account for that
also maybe try fiddling with a vpn if you have one on

Cross play doesn't work to begin with my friend can't join me/me Join him because the invites don't do anything and yes we both have cross play enabled

Same ♥♥♥♥, crossplay enabled and nothing happens when accepting an invite. Same for friend.

Randomly last night a new option in the main menu started appearing.

The "fix" if you wanna call it that is this, host the lobby like normal, (I did it from my PC) send the invite like usual. But instead of accepting that invite through the Xbox dashboard or xbox notifications, wait a few moments and a new option should pop up under "Play game" in the main menu called "cross play invites". Select that and it show your name, if so just select it and away you go.

This was not working before from my knowledge but I'm happy it's there now.

Let me know of that works for you. I can post screen shots later on if needed.

can you post screenshots of the "fix"? It doesn't work for me. I'm on Pc and my friend on Xbox.

i would like to know too, i have no idea how to send an invite to an xbox friend from the steam version...
