After playing this with a friend
im 100% convinced 3rd person view works perfect for this game
theres a LOT of platforming in this game and its not doable in first person
the environment/traversing/animations are all better on 3rd person
grapplehooking/lassoing/dodging
All of it is made for it
IF They add a 1st person optional view and you use it, imo it will take away the entire charm of the game
i LOVE first person type of games and loved that in the first game but this game is perfected on 3rd person, trust me if they even add it as optional it wont feel as good and you will miss out on a a lot.
give it a try, open your mind a little bit.
And implementing a first person view in a game designer to be in third or vice versa is a Time consuming process.
