Elemental Reversal

How do you do this? I am on Zanithia, i have fire and ice birds in front of me, but no matter what i do they either completely miss their projectiles, making this infuriating, or my parry does nothing (considering i have to aim at one that isn't shooting the shot i am parrying)

it can be infuriating, but you indeed have to parry it.
I can only recommend to stand still and give them multiple chances.

i used the lava liquid on the ice creatures, that seemed to count
