coop bugs and issues

Hello.
We are trying to play coop, but are having a lot of issues:
(playtime is 9 hours and bugs are getting worse)

- often the host can not create the coop session (working like 1 out of 10 times)
-> either we are stuck on "please wait" or "session could not be created"
-> ... or when the session worked, it will 50% get stuck on "waiting for other player"
-> sometimes the game will create a new savgeame (instead of loading the selected one)
-> then we are stuck in this unskipable intro video ...

-> both PCs are on Windows 10, AMD hardware, connected to the same LAN
-> we already played on the launch weekend, which worked fine
-> recent patches are not working for us ... we can not play at all ... :(

- when we are able to connect, the client sometimes has missing sounds
-> video/ad sounds are working
-> jumping / character sounds are working
-> world / environment sounds are NOT working
-> this makes it no fun for the client to play at all

Does anyone have any fixes for those issues?
Is the dev team working on a patch for this?

Yeah hosting the game on steam in coop is so random. Sometimes the loading works, sometimes it is stuck and now I always get please wait.. 6h in the game.
