Nothing happens at Fred's tent
Okay, so I got to Fred's tent for the first time, and I looked at those journal things, and now I can't figure out what to do after that. Any help?

keep going forward and up the little circle mountains and you will see where the puzzle rocks are and then you will get to meet samuel hope that helps
