LOCKDOWN Protocol

LOCKDOWN Protocol

MICROPHONE DONT WORK
i got sm7db and focusrite

I have the microphone and sound card set to default and in the game it shows me that the microphone can hear me, but no one around me can hear me. default settings on both windows and steam and I can hear myself everywhere else in the test (discord, windows, steam)
my terrible microphone from razer headphones works for me in the game, but what do I need a set for 800 euro, right? :D
I tried almost everything

Did you make sure to completely close the game and reopen it after making your mic the default mic on your pc? I know that if you don't do so you'll continue to have issues until you do.

of course. I'm dealing with it the other day and I have a sound card and I can do it in fl studio. I wouldn't say I'm an amateur.
they still write in the game settings that the game must be restarted

Did you check the audio settings in game and turn up your voice volume? Also is then when you first join a lobby? Sometimes it happens when you first join a lobby but gets fixed after a game gets loaded.

This was my second suggestion, just had to make sure you'd closed out the game as I've known people to have this issue that hadn't done so. I've also seen tweaking the mic sensitivity in the settings to alleviate this as well.
steps for deleting:

1. Run the command Win+R
2. Type appdata into the box that pops up
3. Go to Local
4. Delete the 'LockdownProtocol' folder
5. Start the game again (this will automatically create a new clean folder
check windows settings dont ask why but its a windows thing with this game

Audio settings if i remember right make your mike default on windows then the game can pic it up
