Change names in text to reflect Japanese pronunciation

Okay, my first introductions into the Romance of the Three Kingdoms were all from Japanese sources like the Koihime Musou visual novel and anime like Ikkitousen (terrible though it was). As a result, I will often have no clue who people are talking about when they give me names like Cao Cao but will instantly recognize "Sousou" as the ruler of Gi (Wei).

My point is this: While I'm ecstatic that there is a Japanese voice option for this game, does it also change how the subtitles will spell the characters' names? (if not, is there a different patch/mod/DLC that can accomplish that?) It would be very nice if I could play through the game without a browser window open to the Koihime Musou character list to draw my connections to all the characters I already know.

Drat, I really expected there to at least be some fan patch for that at the very least

Hypothetical mod like that would simply switch the text to that from the JP version - which is all kanji.
