Issues configuring the controller
Hi guys,

I'm having some issues configuring my controller, or just mapping keys.
When I go to the controller setup for P1 it simply locks up, no button presses do anything (though I can minimize out of the game etc.).

I can however configure for P2 without it locking up.

In-game I can play, though I'd prefer to remap my Xbox One controller.

Anyone have a clue as to what I can do?

I too am having this problem today. It was fine last night, but today all my mappings were reset to the defaults and now when I try to re-map my controller it freezes the game up. If anyone has a fix, please help!

That's odd. Could it be an Xbox One compatibility issue? I'd trying using an Xbox 360 controller if you have one lying around. That generally has better support. You might want to see if your video drivers are up to date?

It's odd indeed. I don't have a 360 controller as I just bought the Xbox One controller for some PC games. All drivers are updated, at all times :)

As for the freezing issue, it happens even with the controller disconnected so I suspect it might be something else. Especially since I can configure for Player 2.... Gah!

I'm not sure why it's not working but I think this helped me when I had problems mapping my controller at launch,

I'm just gonna copy this from http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=297013239

"You will have to go into the controller mapping section USING YOUR KEYBOARD and clear ALL the controller buttons (there's a button dedicated for it - F12 I think?). Then follow the above chart and assign your buttons manually by hitting Enter at each Input type and then pressing the appropriate button on your gamepad"

i figured it out.. i had a joystick plugged in and it recognised the joystick over the gamepad. so once i unplugged the joystick it worked again.
