That's the title for the PC version of Dynasty Warriors 4, which included smarter A.I. and more trooops on screen at once, and it got crazy. Why don't you re-release that on Steam? Come on Koei get off your lazy butts for once and do something right.

I don't care if you charge $9.99-$19.99 for it, it's a classic hit that was well recieved. It brought us Officer Edit and Bodyguard Edit. There were mutliple kingdoms with their own storylines from Dong Zhuo to the Nanman. This was one of the last good games in the series. Before it went all fancy colors and effects with hardly any English voicing at all because Koei got lazy along with no challenge what so ever. (DW8 doesn't have full voice and Empires is staying JP only not to mention after DW6 the A.I. become dumber than rocks).

I believe Darkening Demise is referring to the fact that the narrator and a majority of the Ambition mode dialogue is absent. Many of Koei's other recent titles are also missing English audio so it is pretty clear how they intend to go about this.

I guess it's personal opinion, but I prefer the Japanese VO in most DW/SW/WO titles. I will admit though, the English VOs in DW3 were pretty funny :p

Wouldn't mind seeing DW4 on Steam, but not really sure if I'd purchase it unless it was really cheap or something. I have a copy of it currently, and it can't seem to handle 16:9 widescreen resolutions, which is a decent concern. There doesn't even seem to be movement controls for rotating the camera even... But the game does work.

I find japanese VO of DW8 bland and lacking of any character. Their way of pronouncing names is on par with "Cow Cow". I know it's right japanese way to pronounce them, but that doesn't make it less painfull. I'm really sad there will be no English VO for Empires. I should note that in other games I prefer JA VO, but in this instance it's completely different.

It would be nice if they brought all previously released DW titles on PC to Steam. Each had their own charm.
We already have 4 and 6 in English, and I doubt it'd be too hard to translate SSM4S (DW5+XL) and SSM6w/M (DW7+XL), considering we already have fully translated console versions. SW2 would be nice, as well, and I'm sure they'll bring SW4+XL to PC when it comes around. Sadly, Koei doesn't seem to be too keen on re-releasing their older games, unless it's a iOS or Mobile port.

We should start calling it SW4-II or SW4-2 already. XL is no longer a thing in KT world, from what I understand. Gonna confuse someone somewhere down the line.
