Controls are all messed up

Main menu is spinning with constant ghost-input, confirm is X and back is B, (with is common in japanese games) instead of A and B, but in combat attack is A and B, instead of X and Y.
Start messes with the map, right thumbstick pauses the game and opens the menu.

This is the _default controller layout_ why is it all wrong?

Is there some controller template that I can download to fix things? This is unusable.

Edit: There's a menu to remap things in game but it doesn't work. Not only are all controller inputs labled nonsense like "J12" instead of an actual button, it also doesn't input when you press on your controller.

Play Warriors Orochi instead. This Game is an unplayable Mess with the Controls. Even just on Mouse and Keyboard the Keybinds are beyond horrid and seems like someone just did it on random (like Attacking is set to... J ...) and you can't bind it to LMB/RMB

I'm not buying another game just to play that one instead, not when I'm past my refund window on this one.

Anyway, I found a decent guide for remapping stuff. Confirm is still bound to Musou, so i'm forced to bind that to the wrong button or have all of my menu controls be backwards, but everything else is fixable.
