Weapon change mid game

I don't know if it's a problem or not, but for some reason both my weapon change to something else when I load back into the game. For example, Lu Bu had his Halberd and another weapon I choice. When I continue the game later on the day, it changed into a spinning pike and a trident.

You probably accidentally sold the equipped weapons while playing as another character, so the game automatically equip him with something else

I think the issue was that I bought some weapon from the store guy, then change officer to equip to equipment. But the save button in mid fight does not save my purchased weapons.

If you save in the camp before a battle starts (in story mode obviously) it does save any weapons you purchase from the blacksmith.
